1 Kings 3.5-12; Rom 8.2830; Mt 13.44-52
- Solomon is apprehensive about governing the people while he is such a young man. Yet, God strengthens him in his youthfulness for the task of governing Israel. In the pro-life cause, some of the greatest soldiers for life are our young people, who promote the Gospel of Life – let us encourage them in their efforts to put their talents at the service of God.
- All things work together for good for those who love God. Therefore, let us not despair when we are confronted with the atrocious reality of abortion in Canada today. Somehow, God will work even this – which seems unworkable – into His great plan.
- When it seems that something like abortion just doesn’t fit, let us turn to Christ on the cross for the ultimate example of God “making the unfitting fit”.

Let us pray that God will enkindle a fire in the hearts of a chosen few to have them recognize the pearl that is a life given in defense of life.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will awake within certain chosen souls an ardent desire to give of themselves for the cause of life. We pray to the Lord…
